In its bid to
strengthen the way of producing movies, GG Production company will spend a
whopping sum of N10 million to produce first of it is kind, Gudun Tsira, the
film’s producer, Nuhu Abdullahi, has revealed.
At the official script
presentation and unveiling of the movie held at Paradise Hot Restaurant in Kano
on Tuesday, Popular actor, cum producer Nuhu Abdullahi, said that shooting of
the movie would commence on March 28 and last for two to three weeks.
Abdullahi, who played a
key role in blockbuster Ashabul Kahfi, dramatic Ana Wata Ga Wata and
controversial Baya Da Kura, stated that the motive behind the script
presentation was to enable the characters to familiarise with one another in a
bid to ease shooting of the film.
He further explained
that the movie is set to enlighten the public on the dangers of reckless
driving on the roads.
He expressed hope the
movie would reduce the rate of accidents on the roads as it portrayed the implication
of recklessness on roads and how to do away with it.
“This movie would gulp
7 to 10 million naira. When released, it would make a lot of drivers to come to
their senses as it portrays the dangers of recklessness.
“The essence of
organising this event is to make the characters that would appear in the movie
to familiarise. Those who have grudges with one another would be able to
reconcile in a bid to make the mvie successful,” he said.
Abdullahi also said
the film was made in accordance with the ethics of film making industries and
does not violate the religion, norms and values of the northern region.
One of the film’s
protagonists, Ali Nuhu, a popular Kannywood ace, expressed delight to feature
at the film that was the first to be produced by Abdullahi.
He said the
presentation was a form of publicity and familiarisation, saying “I will give
my best for the success of the movie”.
